Kenalan dengan Future Perfect Tense

Tense ini digunakan untuk menjelaskan aksi yang akan selesai di masa depan sebelum aksi lain terjadi. Misalnya, “By the time I arrive home, my mom will have cooked dinner.” Di sini, “will have cooked” menunjukkan aksi yang akan selesai di masa depan sebelum “I arrive” terjadi.
Struktur Future Perfect Tense
Untuk membentuk Future Perfect Tense, kita perlu menggunakan auxiliary verb “will” dan “have”, serta past participle dari kata kerja yang ingin kita gunakan. Contohnya:
Subject + will + have + past participle
Contoh kalimat lainnya:
– By the end of this year, I will have graduated from college.
– They will have finished their work before the deadline.
– We will have traveled to Japan before the Olympics.
Kapan Menggunakan Future Perfect Tense?
Future Perfect Tense digunakan untuk menjelaskan aksi yang akan selesai di masa depan sebelum aksi lain terjadi. Contohnya:
– By the time you wake up, I will have gone to the gym.
– By next month, I will have saved enough money to buy a new laptop.
– By the end of this week, we will have finished this project.
Contoh Penggunaan Future Perfect Tense dalam Bentuk Negatif
Kita juga dapat menggunakan Future Perfect Tense dalam bentuk negatif. Caranya, tambahkan “not” setelah auxiliary verb “will”. Contohnya:
– By the end of this year, I will not have found a new job yet.
– They will not have completed their research by next month.
– We will not have bought a new car before the end of this year.
Contoh Penggunaan Future Perfect Tense dalam Bentuk Interogatif
Kita juga dapat menggunakan Future Perfect Tense dalam bentuk interogatif. Caranya, letakkan auxiliary verb “will” di depan subject. Contohnya:
– Will you have finished your homework by the time I come home?
– Will they have left the city by next week?
– Will we have achieved our goal by the end of this year?
